RPPN Woodstock

This Natural Heritage Private Reserve (RPPN) was recognized in definitive by an act of INEA, published in the Official Gazette of Rio de Janeiro in April 6, 2009, as a fully protected conservation unit, integrating the National System of Conservation Units (SNUC). With an area of 30.37 hectares, it is the largest among the RPPNs belonging to Fazenda Soledade. This reserve stands out for the water spring and the advantages of sharing some common boundaries with the RPPN Córrego Frio, forming a continuous protected area with fragments of the Atlantic forest biome, all together adding to more than 52 hectares.
